This is a Tara Stiles video for keeping (and in my case making) your core strong.
I’m unsure as to what to say really. I’ve always had quite strong core muscles but I am a case in point of how quickly fitness and strength can go (although if I’m honest it’s had a while to deplete) because I couldn’t even do a third of the video without shouting expletives and cursing my core muscles for being so weak. I can certainly feel where it’s working, that lower stomach area that’s so difficult to tone is definitely being worked and whilst I barely managed any of the workout I’m going to be in pain tomorrow. It’s like I woke up and shocked my stomach muscles into retreating for the day. Like they’re screaming ‘woah woah woah what the hell are you doing?!’.
Anyway I’ve got my gym induction at 2pm and then tomorrow I’ll be going to a Zumba class. I’m pretty excited to start up again with the Zumba because I really feel that once my fitness levels improve I’ll be able to maintain poses longer when I practice yoga. Plus I can’t wait to sweat a ridiculous amount!
